JARRAH FOREST > > Silk mounted on framed canvas; 1000x1000

A FOREST IS MORE THAN ONE TREE

Jarrah and Marri tangle in an embrace for life.
Forest is more precious than wood.
In the secret olden Earth is life.
The tree drinks
And breathes fresh air to share.
Gives shelter and listens to the birds calling ~
Wardung ~ Tjiti-tjiti ~ Koolbardi ~
Remembering names.
Tread Gently.

A forest is more than one tree ~
A life is more than one day.
What grows slowly and in secret shadows is precious.
Tread gently on Earth
For she is life and love always.
In the still forest birds are calling out their names;
Remember me – I am Wardung. I am Tjiti-tjiti
And Marri and Jarrah whisper yes in the stillness.
